Who We Are

Insomuru is the creative identity for Peter Standing, a multi-instrumentalist composer out of Aurora, Colorado with over 25 years of experience. Not only has Peter been a musician and composer most of his life, he is also a gamer. Peter fell in love with video game soundtrack music along the journey. Insomuru Media Creations would love the opportunity to work with more video game development and animation studios to help create the perfect original soundtrack, sound effects, and whatever audio your project may need.

Real & Virtual Instruments, but no AI...

Peter can play a wide variety of real instruments and track them, with the two biggest strengths being guitar and keyboards. While he strives to always provide the real instrument when called for, sometimes virtual instruments will be used to substitute things like full orchestras, brass sections, and more.

Many game soundtracks lack high-quality professional guitar in their productions, and I love to incorporate this whenever the project calls for it.

Instruments and Environment

What Instruments?

My main instruments are electric/acoustic guitar and keyboards. Having proficiency and understanding of many other instruments, I can use virtual instruments using a keyboard in ways which most wouldn't be able to tell if they are real or a virtual instruments. I also play electric bass, saxophone, vocals, mandolin, violin and more!

I'd love to eventually have an extensive collection of unique instruments I can use in recordings.
